Re: Camera woes... yep, the S3 isn't an SLR. And shutter lag is one of my pet peeves. The S3 has one of the fastest shutter response times (from the time you press the button till it takes the picture) of any non-SLR camera I've seen. And it has some quick shutter-speed settings, too. But an SLR is definitely a huge step up from the S3. Good luck. We'll be looking for some great photos here soon.
