At least for us girls of the house. We got the movie Enchanted from the Easter bunny and watched it on Monday. I just loved it! There was a princess named Giselle who was adorable:
Then there was the man who took her in when she appeared in the "real world":
He is a little hard to resist....
Of course there had to be helper animals which, in NYC, happened to be cockroaches, rats from the sewer, and birds! This cracked me up and I laughed out loud! The witch was Susan Sarandon. She did a good job of being scary in a funny sort of way. Maggie didnt take her this way, however, and only thought she was scary. This is why she only gave the movie 4 out of 5 stars while I gave 5 out of 5. My new favorite! I could watch this movie every day! I really could- I do revert back to a 3 year old when I really like a movie. I watch it over and over and over and over again! Until I get sick of it! Unfortunately, Alexander wont let me do this. I asked him if he thought the movie was Tres diddily good and he said it was Tres diddily bad! Can you believe it? I should have figured. He was reciting the weather report during the movie. I never thought that I would ever say, "If you want to recite the weather report, could you go in the other room?" Kids can really bring out the irony in a situation. Anyway, five out of 5 stars. *****
