We hit the Cole Bros Circus on Thursday evening.
The kids had begged to go earlier in the week, much to my dismay ( I am not a circus fan), but I agreed to go and my wonderful mother came with us. We had a pretty good time. Maggie held her ears the whole time (it was pretty loud) and Alexander informed us on the way there that he thought that we were going to the carnival, not the circus. Hmmm.
I think that he was animaled out by the days end. We had spent the morning on a preschool field trip to the Farm Show at the Buffalo Gap High School. I dont think he was too impressed by the animals. Me, on the other hand, I loved it! We got to see a sheep getting sheared and we got to milk a fake cow (at least I did. We stood in a very long line and when we got to the fake cow, the kids wouldnt milk it!)!We ended our animal- themed day with a trip to CiCis Pizza. Not very animal themed, I know. I dont think I could eat an animal after spending the day looking at them!
